Foreign Driving license Replacement 

1. Vision test at any of the authorized vision test centers by RAK police GHQ. (105 AED) 

2. Visit authorized legal translator to start the process of license replacement application.

* Al - Awael Legal translator . (Location Available on google maps app)

* Al - Arabi legal translator . (location available on google maps app) (300 AED) https://maps.app.goo.gl/8zFvH47KzkK6FpVW7 

3. Download the Ministry of Interior smart application (MOI UAE) available on both google-playstore and applestore.

* Register as a new user (using your emirates id card number )

* Log in

* Go to Services

* Driver's Licensing section

* Click on Foreign Driving License Replacement Icon

* Add your address and pay the replacement fee (615 AED) 

4. Visit the RAK POLICE Traffic & licensing services Centre along with the below mentioned documents to receive your UAE driving license:

* (1) passport Size Photograph

* Documents provided by the authorized Legal translator

* Original Foreign license + Emirates id 

Note - Replacement Fee shall only be paid through the MOt app and through any master/visa debit card issued within UAE.

Plan on approx. 2 hours in RAK
